Illegal Immigrants

About 50,000 people are working in Australia illegally, according to the immigration authorities. But the business community, apparently, welcomes their work ethics.

The illegal workers, and those who overstay their visas, are being discovered in hostels, hotels, cafes and restaurants, agriculture, construction, and personal services.

Some are working in the health care facilities where labour is in short supply.
