The Migrant Boom

Today, I have been greatly encouraged by the news that the idyllic state of South Australia is experiencing a migrant boom.

This development is fuelled by the influx of new migrants from the United Kingdom, China, Sudan, South Africa, Ethiopia, Somalia, Nigeria, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

The growth in the state’s population is the highest in 14 years and this trend is likely to continue, according to the Advertiser newspaper report.

The point to note, however, is that the new generation of Africans have added to the migrant boom in South Australia in recent years; having brought a great deal of vibrancy, freshness, and vitality to the land Down Under.

Jobless Program for Muslims

Unemployment in the Muslim community in Australia stands at a relatively high level of 19 per cent (compared with the national rate of less than 6%), according to the Australian Financial Review.

Now, the government is about to sign off on a major new jobs program for Muslim Australians in order to contain the spread of radical fundamentalism.
